Which TT was that may I ask? I’ve got an lp12 that’s a bit long in the tooth and I can pretty much buy a new TT for the price of an upgrade.

I'm using a Gyrodec, but there are many good turntables out there.

If I were buying now I'd look at Nottingham Analogue, Origin Live, and SME as well as Mitchell, depending on your budget and the sound you like.
