Hi gang,

Currently I have my own music library ripped from CDs to Apple Lossless supplemented by Spotify. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think my offline music library is pretty sorted, if not very well organised - no pun intended.

Someone at work just enquired about my Bitzie - they loved it, hopefully an order coming your way. We got talking and they mentioned that there are higher quality streaming services around. Would like to get the community's input on the following:
  • What do you think of Spotify?
  • What would you recommend instead and why?
Let the debate begin Geek

Been trying out Qobuz today. The lossless quality is night and day over Spotify, only problem is the library seems a lot smaller. Would be great if Spotify just went lossless.

I'm working on Plan C.

I use Spotify to have a listen to music that I might buy.  I've just upgraded to Spotify Family.

Obviously even at Premium this is not the best quality, but I can use it with Sonos and all of my devices.  It doesn't require much maintenance either.  The reason I have upgraded is that I now have three teenagers vying with me for access.  My 18 year old doesn't use anything else much to listen to music so it became necessary.

...... and that's my opinion, take or leave it
