I´ve got the opportunity to step up from
Gram Amp 2SE to Jazz Club.
Does anyone have some experience
about suitable cartridges when playing
old records (before 1957, e.g. FFRR)
Is it necessary to use a spherical pickup?
Do mono pickups better?

I´m using a Ortofon 2m black or
Audio Technica AT 150 MLX for modern
RIAA stereo records.

Decision is made: a new mono pickup
Ortofon OM  D 25 M.
It gives a quite good performance
when playing mono records via
GSP Jazz Club.
