I heard the Hi-Fi HE300 on a Scitt valhalla - it had a really heavy bass and a really warm sound . not the most refined sounding set of phones
Other than that no idea

I have a pair of HE300 which sound superb in its current configuration using balance inputs (different amp). I have briefly used the HE300 with the Solo SRGII and Solo UL using the old stock single ended cable and the HE300 sound lovely. Since the manufacturer (Head Direct) has changed the single ended cable and I have not listened to it. Regardless the HE300 is IMO a great sounding can at its price point of $250. Good luck.

I have the Shure SRH940 and they sound superb and really far in excess of their "bargain" price tag!
I even prefer them to my Grado RS1i. In fact they're all I've been using for the past few months.
Really musical, detailed and accurate. Some people comment on the supposed lack of bass, o.k. it's not there in abundance but I would call it "honest". That can be forgiven in the context of the overall sound.
My Sennheiser HD250 are still my favourite though!
