I found some replacement drivers for the 7000... by a Geman supplier of Fostex spare parts (megaaudio.de)! The only one that seemed to still have them! You have no idea how much I hunted around before finding them: no spare parts on eBay, no spare parts from Denon, no spare parts from several professional repair labs (including Lawton). Everybody kept saying that there were no more replacement parts available and there hadn't been at least since 2-3 years ago. But persistance pays!

Got the spares today... got myself armed with the soldering iron (with my clumsy and shaking hands)... and the Denon AH-D7000 was brought back to life! Tongue

So now I have both the 7000 and the 7200, and I plan to keep them both: one for my city home, and one for my mountain holiday place! LOL
