I don't normally give to big charities but on this occasion I know that the BHF have experts to price vinyl and have record shops to sell vinyl. I normally give to St Luke's Hospice in Plymouth, When a mate had cancer he said the staff really looked after him and couldn't fault them. Plus it's a local charity.

I'm a bit reluctant to support some charities after the recent abuse their staff did in places like Haiti, and their management fees/expensive HQ's in London. A lot of charities unfortunately pay their execs a lot.

Try selling them on Facebook marketplace(free) & giving it to someone with small overheads? Shelterbox are a stunning charity, low overheads, mainly volunteers (Rotary Network of clubs) & what they do is fantastic.

If you don't have access to a printer to print off the pick up point can do this for you

British Heart Foundation
Today I sent off by free post some unwanted Vinyl and it was vary easy.
Just go on their website and give them your name and Email address and they send you an Email with their postal address for you to print off, you stick it on your box and take it to your local pick up point which you can also find on their website. They have five dedicated shops that sell vinyl and CDs in this country and they have dedicated experts volunteers to make sure they get the right price for all that they get

Oxfam also has a central online music store - I see that a Mobile Fidelity Dark Side of the Moon is currently on there for £200: https://onlineshop.oxfam.org.uk/dark-side-of-the-moon-first-mobile-fidelity-pressing/product/HD_300455412?sku=HD_300455412

Out-of-print MoFi vinyl always seems to command premium prices - perhaps unsurprisingly. Ditto their SACDs.

I know that Oxfam and British Heart Foundation have specialist music stores around the country (worth Googling ' x Music Shop' - where 'x' is the name of a charity - for contact details) - and I'm sure there are others. BHF used to have a great music store in Brighton which made loads of money for the cause - unfortunately it closed due to redevelopment...Unhappy

For a heartwarming story about such things, this takes some beating: https://thevinylfactory.com/news/record-worth-2000-found-charity-shop/

CLIC Sargent in Bristol, they are a charity that support children with cancer.
If you go on the Long Live Vinyl (It's a Mag) website they do a guide on charity shops that sell records. Oxfam also take vinyl records
