Can I check which range? Is it downforce in which case I suggest 1.75g. Capacitance depends on system but try 0pF and then 100pF if needs more treble.

It has been a while since I ran MM, and I have never run a Goldring 1042, but I received a question for someone wanting to borrow a phonostage, who asked what the "Sweet Spot" in the range was for a 1042.
I am hoping there is someone here who can answer this question based on their experience?
