A welcome from me too.
I see you are a Harbeth P3 user. Last month I heard the new XD version of this standmount speaker and was very impressed with the sound coming from such a small box. So much so that I've arranged a home loan for when they become available next month. My room is much smaller than yours but it's good to learn they work for you, even in a space extending to 30 square metres.

I run the 40th anniversary version on stands placed in about 30 cm distance from a large window behind them. The reflection from the glass let them appear much bigger than they actually are but they still keep the subtly nuanced sound.
I have not heard about the new version. Curious to hear from your first experience.

Thanks but let‘s go step by step and start with the Majestic. I will most probably come back to your offer.

The Majestic is very 'easy' to listen to - no digital harshness & top class soundstaging - almost addictive.
Good luck with the trial. |
