Hello to all,
I just joined today. I became aware of this forum just by chance when I read a few very promising reviews about Graham Slee equipment. I am looking for a magially sounding DAC together with an amp for my beloved Harbeth P3s. Unfortunately it is difficult in Germany (Cologne) to find a dealer who is able to present the Majestic-Proprius combination to me. Do you have experience with this set-up? Do the Proprius amps have enough power to drive the P3s adequately in a 30 square meters room? Is there even a way to test the equipment at home for a few days? Thanks for your feedback and happy to be here. Cheers Eargie |

May I suggest you read this: https://www.hifisystemcomponents.com/forum/eu-loaner-program_topic1231_post58245.html#58245 After which I suggest you click right of CageyH and select "Send Private Message" and ask to loan the items you are interested in for the trial period. Also, a very warm welcome from us all.

Thanks for the warm welcome!
To be honest I was a bit hesitant to join as I made some bad experience with other hifi forums in the past but this one looks quite different. I will surf around and listen to the experience gained by others. Looks like it‘s more about vinyl fans and I somehow regret that I gave away my vinyl collection to a friend of mine in the late 80s. I decided to not start from scratch again and try to find some equipment that makes streaming/CDs sound like analogue in the best sense. I will definitely reach out to test the DAC/amps at home with the lender program. A fantastic opportunity offered by GS! Thanks Eargie

Don’t give up on vinyl I started again from scratch just 10 years ago in my late 50’s and I am really glad that I did.

The more I read and listen to vinyl lovers the more I feel motivated to start again. Let‘s see how long I can resist.
