I'm at the end of my loaner audition of the Accession M and it sound great!  It improved with time and the top end smoothed out with my Astatic 100 cartridge on a Thorens TD 165.  Compared to my Conrad Johnson PV2A phono stage, the Accession is more detailed and more dynamic with a larger sound stage.  It has the advantage of providing more gain even at the lowest gain setting and the loading choices allow adjustment of high end.  I've enjoyed my time with the Accession and also conversing with B.K. who takes care of the loan program and is an expert in the field of electronics.
I see an Accession in my future along with the Lateus interconnect.  If I hadn't totaled my car half way into the loan audition I'd buy them right away!  Great company and great audition program, I encourage anyone interested in a state of the art MM phono to give the Accession a try.

For Astatic, read Sonotone before 1978, and Vernitron after 1978. After the decline in their incredibly good ceramic cartridges, they ventured into magnetics, but ceased making cartridges altogether around that time, moving into hearing aids. The UK division was closed in 1991. I am still a big fan of the Sontone 9TAHC ceramic.

Would that be the Astatic MF100 with "moving flux" technology?
Output rated @ 3.5mV...

The Astatic brand entering magnetic cartridge making is referenced here:
