So I took up the offer of a loan of a pair of Lautus cables.
Sounded different immediately but I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first.
The existing cables were top of the tree Chord Chorus Reference.
The twisted twin core silver jobbies.
£300 second hand!
Best I’ve ever heard.

Re took the Pepsi challenge today & swapped the cables from the Rev M for or five times.

The consensus is that the Lautus is the winner.
Actually sounds louder as if I’d turn the volume up a couple of notches!

I will be ordering a pair ASAP!

And they are made to fit beautifully. No cable salad!

They are the best phono leads I have heard. One of my work colleagues replaced the phono leads on his Thorens TD160 with Cusat50's and was delighted.

I replaced the interconnects between the Majestic to amp and Reflex M to Majestic with Cusat50 and had instant success. Especially the bass now is more dramatic and goes deeper like almost sub territory. My old cables were of very good quality though. Price/performance ratio is top notch! Graham makes good stuff! Thank you. I wasn't always so good at this, but since leaving 'comprehensive education' I've had 48 years to try and get it right...

Almost there? Wink

It's not a duel, it's about letting you hear differences, if any, and you choose (if you wish) which is preferable to you. I accept I will not always win, but facilitate the ability to compare for those who are interested.
