If you did the whole room you wouldn't be able to use your mobile phone. I've read of pubs doing this so that their clients are forced to engage with one another instead of playing with their phones.

But shielding the room won't help with removing EMI that originates from within it. At least if you put all the Graham Slee or whatever boxes together in a bigger thick heavy duty metallic box with a thick metal lid that can be open or closed. You could do a listening test with the lid fully closed (everything enclosed) vs fully open (everything exposed). Would be interesting to see if a sonic difference could be heard or measured.

I won't be doing this myself anytime soon. Besides I don't think anyone on this forum takes me seriously anymore. Just for buying Lautus cables, I'm probably thought of as a delusional storyteller so I'll leave the science to those that have the mathematics, experience and rationale to support repeatable results.

And then you plug in your turntable and you're back to square one.

Well I don't have a turntable but you're right, it's futile. All the devices are connected via PSUs to the mains, which is subjected to EMI of many kinds. Fundamentals and harmonics will get into equipment via electromagnetism (induction etc).

Have faith in the common ground plane and just enjoy your music collection instead of fretting over tiny incidentals.
