Would it matter if Spatia speaker cables were different lengths. Only talking short lengths up to 2Mts for the longest?.

This was posted about 18 months ago? I have had three sets of different length cables all of which have worked exceptionally well. Mine are approx 2.25m and 4.25m from memory. Whilst there may be very marginal differences I would imagine that they would be smaller than coiling up lengthy cables and a lot less untidy too!
Maybe a very long and short 2m & 10m there may be. |

It should not matter at all.
Capacitance even at several times the lengths you're looking at will be swamped by the speaker impedance so any filter effect will be way beyond the audio band. Damping factor will differ per side, but if you can hear the difference between 400:1 and 200:1 you surely have incredible hearing. |

Maybe the vendors that insist you need identical lengths just want to sell more cable? Cynical? Moi?

Has anyone else tried very short cabling i.e. under 300mm and compared it to the typical 3m or so?

Not tried quite this short but I certainly want to try sub-100mm cable by having a Proprius monoblock and MA speaker driver close together and back-to-back. I'd like a 12P adjacently above a 12PW and a monoblock for each, so I'd make stilts for the Proprius to sit on so there is little to obstruct the back waves. I'd have to leave enough space for connecting the 1.5m Lautus-R3 input cables too.
