Me to
found a copy of Level 42, A Physical Presence came out in 1985, A sealed copy from a 2nd hand record shop about a year ago
Not a big fan of them (only got greatest hits on CD) but what a good find. I took chance and it paid off

Found a sealed copy of Barnstorm this year and got it. Turned out to be a flawless record and well worth the wait as this has been on my buy list for a decade. So many records have inner groove damage from previous play, and buying sealed is always risky, but sometimes...

If you look at your reflection in the bottom of a well,
What you see is only on the surface.
When you try to see the meaning, hidden underneath,
The measure of the depth can be deceiving.
The bottom has a rocky reputation

You can feel it in the distance the deeper down you stare.
From up above it's hard to see, but you know when you're there.
On the bottom words are shallow.
On the surface talk is cheap.
You can only judge the distance by the company you keep
In the eyes of the Confessor.

I cleaned and listened to the three JW LP's I own whilst I re-ripped them. His lyrics are interesting and the playing/musicianship of a high standard. I will happily listen to them again which is why I want them on my Fiio X5 when I am away!

I have the quite rare/deleted LP "So Far - So Good", a compilation:

1:  Rocky Mountain Way / Welcome to the club / Bookends / Walk Away / Mother Says
2:  Turn to stone / Here we go / Pavane / Time out / Meadows

Brilliant...

Recently bought "You cant argue with a sick mind" on CD, and will buy his others soon.

Underrated guitarist.

Hey Graham, this thread prompted me to play the 'There Goes The Neighbourhood' & 'So What' LPs

Todays' thought is that tonight I do have a music night with my best pals, yay

So they said let's do it, play some rock and roll
And they got all loose and had a few
And before they knew it, they was out of control
Turned into a regular zoo

(From "Down On The Farm")
