Thanks for the speedy responses Richard. I replaced the original Technics arm fitting with a well made armboard for the SL1200/10 from Origin Live that is cut for a Rega arm or a compatible model like OL's Zephyr which I have on there at the moment. The OL arm is very good and I am just indulging my curiosity about hearing the SME IV on my Technics really. The Soundsupports armboard for modern 9 inch SME arms looks just the job. I think they are out of stock at the moment but it is a resonable price as you suggest. Thank you. |

Coming to this convo late but I have a pair of 1210s with nightclub S pro carts I think.
Gives my £5k Inspire LP12 a run for its money. Audiophile deck for sure. That punch & perfect timing! Also wil play records well that sound awful on the L*nn! In the long run I can see me changing the L*nn for a modified SL1210. Anyone tried Inspire’s Technics based Monarch?
