I'll be using the responses to this thread to make a testers list and will contact each member who has expressed an interest shortly (shortly could mean 3-4 weeks)
That none should be able to buy or sell without a smartphone and the knowledge in how to use apps

The design looks ideal for supply in kit-form! No nasty SMD to deal with!

Graham, I do not know how much power this unit draws but if it is low enough some of us could use it as a transportable unit. A battery pack capable of supplying the correct voltage/amps would have to be found but I bet there are already plenty of alternatives available.
 
Can you imagine the impact of a discrete transportable amp operating out of an small battery pack. Wink

how does this new 'novo' compare to the solo? i've just found a place that had the solo to listen to, and sounds great even without the psu1 (he loaned it to someone).
