As the Lord's prayer goes:

"Forgive us our debts...

...as we forgive our online shoplifters!"

Hey, hang on there, something isn't quite right about that?

And it's even worse when PayPal aid and abet the criminal as in a recent case where we delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery - WITH PROOF OF DELIVERY - and the customer for want of a better word, told PayPal we'd not delivered!

Even with PROOF OF DELIVERY by HER ROYAL MAJESTY, the American PayPal company chose to back the thief!

If the boot was on the other foot, all parties would be on a plane to the USA to stand trial.

If the UK had balls it would set up a proper online transaction handling portal for itself and boot PayPal off this island, along with Tony Blair and all others responsible for selling us to the USA!

AND THAT'S WHY WE NO LONGER ACCEPT PAYPAL (OR PLASTIC FOR THAT MATTER) FOR UK TRANSACTIONS!
That none should be able to buy or sell without a smartphone and the knowledge in how to use apps

Who had signed for the delivery, Graham?

Sounds a lousy situation ...

BTW if you don't take plastic how do folks pay for online purchases ??

Perhaps you can publish the serial number as stolen property.

Sounds like a County Court action is required ( Small Claims Court ).

Quite easy to do these days.

As a norm PayPal sides with the buyer even with signed delivery. Sorry to hear.

You can't actually prove that some one didn't else intercepted the parcel so that would be a risky move.
