I wish I could be more positive about my poor battered old double LP. Purchased in the 70's & played to death when I was young enough not to worry. Now quietly resting between Dixie' & Feats', it's only the plastic sleeve holding it all together!

More like Wilting for Columbus Cry
Older than I once was, younger than I'll be

Isn't WFC a later release that came after Feats? If you're sorting chronologically that is. Geek
In any case I got my copy of WFC for a steal, about £7 on swedish "ebay" in perfectly silent NM condition. I don't know if it's first issue but it looks to be from the seventies at least and it sounds stellar. Big smile

I have a 'strange' filing system which is arranged to fit whatever mood I am in and throws up some surprises:

File by genre, ie Blues, Rock, Hard Rock, Prog, Indie, Folk World, etc. I also have a 'don't file yet until played a few more times' section. Within each Genre I place all albums by an artist together but not chronologically etc

A good friend stores alphabetically without leaving gaps and I love to buy him 'l', 'm' or 'n' artists and see which way he will push half his collection to fit them in !!

Always a problem LOL. Mine is also room. I've already since long filled the approximately 3 metres of space in my bookcase where I can fit 12" records so now I have to sort out the less played ones whenever I'm getting something new. Still I like the limit in a way, keeps my collection pretty dud free and all used. The real question is whatever do I do with the towering mountain of unwanted records and double issues. Selling them to a dealer gives you pennies on the pound.

You're more than welcome to relieve me of a few and have a cuppa if you want and have the time to spare. I do have more records than I can handle. Just be careful then not to exceed the luggage weight limitations when you fly back. Wink
