I think the cheapest 701s are about £160 whereas the 702s seem to be about £250 and I'd never get that past the other half |

I didn't realise the price difference between K701 and K702 was so large?!?! O__O The K701 is better value then.

If I had to choose between K701, K702 and Q701, I would choose K702 due to its removable cable. I like the blue colour as well as the lack of a "Q".

Interested in the AKG K701s, is there any real difference between them and the Q701s as I have been told there isn't.......apart from the price and endorsement that is

The only AKG headphone that I have is the K550. That's a very good closed-back headphone, although it doesn't beat the HD250II from Sennheiser. I doubt I'll budge from the HD250 now. I certainly have no need to go to an open headphone anymore. The HD800 is the only one I'd consider in the future, although I can't see them being much better than the K702, from what I've read.
