Listening to this again today. Great live recording and a quality pressing. If you like Monk then this is a must have.

Got this, recorded a few years ago as some improv sessions with Tony Allen and Hugh Masekela and finished off recently after Hugh's death.

The London Howlin' Wolf Sessions (1971)
Modern pressing by Speakers Corner, Germany 2003.
I still have Fuji FR-II casette from 80s with this album. My first real blues recording that changed my musical landscape and preferences.

OK, so this was my entertainment today while I am "sheltering in place"

Perfect record IMHO.

Agreed! Great album but then again, it’s Joni Mitchell!

This one on the turntable today. Always takes me back to the 80"s - probably because it got so much air time on the radio. Also I think a quintessential record of the times:

I have been looking for that Sade album here in Japan. I'm sure it's just a matter fo time, but haven't found out yet. Funny, I just listened to a compilation album from the 80's that has Smooth Operator on it. I listen to that album on occasion and it takes me back to my high school days listening to the radio. Listening to that is what has me looking for a full Sade album.

I'm not sure how many people know who Phil Keaggy is, but I have been listening to his Master and Musician album today. He is a great guitarist. This album is very early 70's, you can instantly tell with the drop of the needle, yet very enjoyable listen.

I enjoy seeing what others are listening to as I get a lot of good tips on what to check out. Thanks!
