yes I suspect you are right my brothers copy was original and from memory this seems perhaps better balanced frq wise but that was over 30 years ago on his big IMFs which did move phenomenal amounts of air at Low frequencies could really move your stomach on some records.

I imagine that was a very good evening.
Long, long time since I was there when I bade farewell to Cream, but what goes round, comes round though. Going to see Music of Cream at the Stables in October. band members include Malcolm Bruce, son of Jack, Kofi Baker son of Ginger and Will Johns, sort of related to Eric Clapton. should be an interesting evening.
Just listen, if it sounds good to you, enjoy it.

it really was superb. I saw the Cream concert on Omnibus on the BBC. I didn’t really appreciate it back then.

Looking back on those days makes me realise how lucky we were then to see so many big names on the College circuits and local provincial venues in the 60s and 70s, not just the the major large city venues as it is today .
Just listen, if it sounds good to you, enjoy it.

Pulled this set out today to listen to the Bryter Layter CD. Utterly timeless.
SL-1200 MK7 (modified) + Reflex M + PSU-1 used with AT150-40ML, AT VM95ML, Stanton 680mkII + Ogura, and Shure M35X cartridges.
