This record came out of batch of records and CDs I had in storage for over 15 years. I've been going through the records and cleaning and listening to them lately.

Despite the corny cover art, this is a good collection of songs. The arrangements and harmonies are particularly impressive to me. The first three sides are very consistent but side 4 is mostly throw away/joke songs. Whomever sequenced this compilation seemed to put all that stuff on the last side for some reason.

Another second hand purchase advertised as excellent but arrived scuffed and very dusty but cleaned up well in the RCM.   David Lindley - Very Greasy - a highly dynamic and clean recording which can sound rather lively on the wrong system but great music IMO and difficult to keep you feet from tapping - fav track ‘talk about you’.

Not really familiar with this artist, but just wanted to say that's a great looking turntable.

Glad the RCM did the trick. I've received a few albums like that, which is why I curbed my Discogs purchases severely. The other day I received half a dozen albums from a private store and they were all graded accurately. Even though this store is usually excellent about grading they slip up from time to time, so I got lucky.

Haven't listened to Abba for ages, can't remember when the last time was. Put on Super Trouper and was immediately impressed by how much more detail I can hear now. My new Charisma is the best investment for my ears!

How do those Kate Bush remasters sound? I've been eyeing some of them at my local shop. I also came across an original US copy of The Dreaming, but wondered if $25 was a bit steep for that? A glance at Discogs suggests maybe it's not, but it seemed a bit high for catching it in the wild.

Whoops--my last post was meant to be a reply to this. Still figuring out how to use the forum, sorry! Just curious how the 2018 Kate Bush remasters sound?
