i have been looking this morning.
Got a strange look when I had a picture of a stylus on the TV with music playing. Some good tracks too.👍

Hi I am not going to comment on belt vs DD as I have no knowledge of DD. But I do have a 45 year old Thorens TD160 and also a 2016 Rega Planar 3, which I have tweaked including Neo PSU. All I will say is that well serviced and maintained, the Thorens is not dissimilar in performance to the Rega, to me both are engaging, dynamic and musical. However, this for me at least had as much to do with cartridge and phono stage as anything, and I saw a major improvement when I switched to GS phono stages. As you have now got a GS stage on its way, maybe in the first instance look to see what difference that makes to your set up, and also cartridge/stylus. Evaluate one change at a time and then decide if your TT is still the limiting factor for your listening environment before investing more in a TT that may or may not be an improvement over what you have. cheers Derek
