Graham perhaps your use of the balanced cable design in the proprius is a factor to why it sounds so good?

Chris when you say interfacing rather than cabling I am not sure precisely what you mean? Can you clarify?

You mentioned balanced cable, so I assumed you have XLR connections on the cable (they don't have to be XLR - quarter inch stereo jacks could also be used).
The XLR socket on the device at each end is the interfacing I mentioned.

Ok I think I follow now. The cables are an exact match and was trying to outline the differences between the differing connection types (plugs and sockets) in my case the cd and amp are have fully balanced circuits so I am led to believe.

Proper balanced connections have superior RF rejection capabilities, which is why they're widely used in professional audio fields.

We've got the 1/4 inch jack to XLR Libran leads which can be used for a balanced between Majestic and Proprius. I have had a request for the standard XLR to XLR balanced cable so a Libran in this format would be helpful.
Jon

Open mind and ears whilst owning GSP Genera, Accession M, Accession MC, Elevator EXP, Solo ULDE, Proprius amps, Cusat50 cables, Lautus digital cable, Spatia cables and links, and a Majestic DAC.
