Thanks Andrew, my arm is a Series 4 without micrometer so any trade-in price would of course take this into account.
The new 6 is very tempting - I'll contact Jeff about trade-in.
Cheers.

Had a very quick reply from Jeff & he can't take an arm older than Series 5 as trade-in for a Series 6
as there are no common parts.
Decided to go for one anyway & my current Audiomods may be up for sale here soon....Smile

Before being put up for sale, my Audiomods Classic will be returned to Jeff who has kindly offered to service & check the arm & guarantee it.
If anyone is interested it will be available next month. Thanks.

I'm confident you won't be disappointed Rich.

I have a habit of alternating albums between both my main turntables & although the series 6 is on a home built Rega RP10 clone/Roksan Corus Black via Reflex M versus SL1200G/Audio Note IQ3 via Accession (ie the former is supposedly lower quality in each case), it completely holds its own. In no way inferior in terms of musicality or enjoyment.

Older than I once was, younger than I'll be

That's great to know Andrew.Smile
When you consider the work that must go into designing & making an arm like the series 6
(and the earlier Rega modifications) the cost is very reasonable.
