Hi there.

Just had a look at that link and it brought back a few memories. Peter Belt was first brought to my attention by Graham many years ago when we first worked together. When I saw the bit about reef knots a rather large smile spread across my face. I and some other workmates used to tie reef knots in bits of wire and leave them on Grahams desk (knowing what he thought)LOLLOL. We virtually covered his office floor one morning before he came in. Good job we're mates and have a sense of humor eh Graham Wink.

As for sticking batteries in the freezer Censored. I've always found that extreme low temperatures tend to screw batteries.

You mean pink paint doesn't have anti-corrosion properties? Bugger! I'll have to get the car resprayed. Again LOL.
Oh well! Better go and remove the bit of blue-tac from all the light bulbs now then too Wink.

You do realise that bluetac is reversed polarised, don't you? Not only does it reduce your appreciation of music,  it also makes the cat more sleepy and the double glazing less effective. The correct room treatment required the use of "Buddies"  in place of bluetac. These are pink which brings benefits and also smell less bad when used on tungsten bulb...

I'm losing the will to live.......................................

Problem with my listening room, is that the hi-fi shares space with a TV, leather suite, carpets, concrete floor ( under the carpets ), wall lights, ceiling lights, shelves loaded with vinyl, blinds, pictures, fireplace, bay window ( shock horror! ) etc.

What chance does the hi-fi have?

Oh well, back to the blue tacConfused

I recommend rotating the concrete floor through 90%. It might not improve the hifi but it will certainly change your mental state...
