The Accession MM arrived and I immediately connected it into my system direct to the amplifiers (I couldn't wait to hear what it sounded like).
I put on the same record that I was listening to before I sent back the GA2 and EGV and waited................oops must turn up the volume...WOW No time to do a wordy review but I can say I have no regrets, my wife has no regrets (bonus) and the burn-in period has started. Just a quick thank you to Bob Wood who I've been listening to on YouTube and using as my reference, one particular track prompted me to buy my first new LP in 20+ years, Grant Green, Idle Moments and this was the second record I played and I'm very happy Thanks Brian |

yes it's burning in as described by others, we all have different ears so all I can add is that the instruments and voices all sound "right" to me.
This is the end game for MM phono amps. Buy it and forget it, job done😀 Brian

I would like to add a simple Thank You to the maker of the Lovely Accession MM ! Now pleasantly listening to a few old albums...and this Accession has got me re-starting a self build speaker project.
Somebody above mentioned Bob Wood youtube Channel....and simply Brilliant...opens your eyes to cartridges and some great obscure albums ( to me - 13 Faces of Lightning Head etc) lovely reproduction. Got me thinking seriously about upgrading this year with a Sumiko Blue Point Special EVO III high output moving coil cartridge on my LP12. PS Graeme, Some of us Northeners are quiet, BUT we do listen....especially to crackin Gear! Keep up the great Work! BlackCrowe |
