Hi, can anyone tell me what the power consumption is of the Accession mm phono stage and Enigma power supply when left switched on as seems to be recommended. Is there a stand by setting?
I would have thought a recommendation / instruction to leave a unit constantly powered up should be in the manual so that new owners are in no doubt of it's validity.
Do any current owners practice this always on method or find 4 to 5 hours prior to playing is sufficient. Thank you.

Hi David
I can't tell you the power consumption.
What I can tell you is I always keep my Reflex M and PSU1 powered up and when I have had to switch them off (for cleaning) I have noticed a difference in sound when I 've played music right after turning them back on, for me I will leave them on power for around 3 to 4 hrs before a serious listening session
Reflex M, Solo (both with PSU-1) CuSat50, Lautus, Spatia & Spatia links cables. Ortofon Bronze.

It will sound a lot better if you leave it powered up and cost you a few watts per hour. I suggest switching the mains off if you are going on holiday, if so allow a few hours to settle down after reconnecting the power as Jon said.
