I would relish the prospect of taking on yet another Project requiring more than just bolting/clipping a few things together. No faint hearts here! One of my other pastimes is making and flying model aeroplanes, mistakes there can cost you dearly.

I share your frustration and dismay in the way our indigenous electronics industries have been wiped out leaving us largely reliant on foreign manufacturers and suppliers. I, like many in other industries, witnessed through my career in Civil Engineering the gradual disappearance of UK equipment and machinery manufacturers. A wealth of experience and expertise swept aside primarily by the short sighted actions of shareholders, managers and accountants seeking only short term gain. Why bother with the hassle of running a factory when you can make an instant profit by selling the whole lot for a Supermarket or Housing development? The increased use of "outsourcing" seems to have stripped many companies of their in house manufacturing and development expertise.
Rant over.

Ian.

Just listen, if it sounds good to you, enjoy it.

The case is currently at the powder coaters so once the finish is approved we'll be getting the printing sorted and into production... at long last.
Thank's for being patient

My existing PSU for my Powered Lautus  > Bitzie's given up the ghost just after 3 months of use so I could do with something that's been properly made.Wink

The first production run cases are now being machined and will be going for coating as soon as they are ready. I am just waiting for the final artwork from Graham ( ) for the front and rear panels and they will then be going to the screen printers.
I have a meeting with the engineering company on Monday but will be speaking to the main man there tomorrow. He's an old friend of mine so I'll be pushing for this to be ready for coating then printing by the end of this week.
