How is this future product going?
Any changes to be made following the lessons learnt from the 1970's amplifier project?

I have now managed to get my act together and fit an off the shelf EI laminated transformer. Before doing so I researched one popular option which involves fitting a flux-band to reduce external magnetic fields. Whether it helps or not will I'm sure eventually make itself evident, but as the advert goes "every little helps".

Here is a picture of it.

Fantastic! Is this likely to be the final product? If so, I'm looking forward to hearing it in my system.
