There are lots of stereo DACs to choose from so what makes this one so special?The Majestic is more than just a stereo DAC – it’s a preamp for the digital age!

It has 8 inputs, and unlike some DACs, you don’t have to plug and unplug cables to select the input you want – you simply connect all your sources and select the one you want on the front panel switches. There’s 3 coaxial inputs; 3 optical (Toslink) inputs; 1 USB; and an analogue input … yes an analogue input – suitable for the output of a phono stage.

It has an output level control which is handy for setting just the right level for the input to a preamp … but use it just like you would a volume control and you won’t need a preamp – because, by having this control, the Majestic is one!

It offers two outputs: the main output is balanced so it will drive a pair of powered monitor loudspeakers or our Proprius mono-block power amps. This output can be used unbalanced too so it will drive any power amp. It is 600 Ohm compatible so it’s suitable for studio use too.

The other output is fixed low-level unbalanced, which is just right for driving a headphone amp such as our Solo Ultra Linear Diamond Edition. But should you want it routed via the output level control, we can build it for you like that at no extra cost!

Obviously being a Slee it features our great analogue sound, and because it has our ‘Ultra-Linear treatment’ you’re in for a real musical treat!
